Today's 30-Day blog challenge is to show you my dream wedding.
Well, since I'm already married to the man of my dreams, I can't exactly replace our wedding. But if we were to do some type of vow renewal, then I would have to say something along these lines.
A simple renewal on the beach in Hawaii or another tropical location. We were married in the middle of winter, so a warm location would be a nice change of pace!

30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 6 - Possible Pet?
Today's challenge is to post a picture of an animal you'd love to keep as a pet.
Since Great White Sharks are a bit on the big side and are nearly impossible to keep in captivity, I went with a different choice.
There are lots of animals I would like to keep as a pet, but I'm probably in the minority when I say I love snakes.
The snake pictured is a breed of corn snake. Perfectly harmless.
I actually had the pleasure of working with one during my time volunteering at our local zoo. I absolutely loved working with him.

30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 5 - Photo of me from two years ago
Today's 30 Day Blog Challenge is to post a picture of myself from two years ago.
This one was hard. Not because I didn't want to use a picture of me, but because finding a picture of me is hard.
I don't carry a cell phone anymore, and I wasn't much for selfies anyway. And anytime a camera is out, I'm usually the one taking pictures!
However, I did find this one I took on an old cell phone from two years ago. As you can see, I had red hair back then.
This is donut, my cat (I didn't name him). He is the cat behind "cat on the lap". He sits on my lap as I write and work. As you can see in the picture, he's pretty attached to me ;)

30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 4 - Best Friend
I'm on day four of the 30 Day Blog Challenge. Today's challenge is "Your favorite photograph of your best friend."
I suppose if I were in middle or high school I would know exactly who my best friend is, but sadly, narrowing it down to one person is impossible. Truly. My sister is my best friend. My husband is my best friend. My dog is my best friend... so on.
So instead, I will scatter a few photos in here and tell you about them :)

30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 3 - Favorite Store
So I'm continuing with the 30-Day blog challenge by telling you about my favorite store. This is a VERY hard one for me because there are several stores I shop at on a regular basis, but they are for different reasons. I love going to Michael's Craft Store for their crafts. I enjoy hitting up my favorite organic food store for all the various unique items they carry.
However, if I were forced to picked, I'd say TJ Maxx is, by far, my favorite store. Where can you get amazing name brands at such low prices? Really? It's insane!
I also found out we are getting a Home Goods (which is pretty much the TJ Maxx of home décor) so I'm super excited to see that. It may end up being a favorite as well.
Well, this has been your day three glimpse into the life of Author Suzanna Lynn! Talk to you tomorrow!

30 Day Blog Challenge: Day One
So, I have decided to take the 30-Day blog challenge to give my readers and fellow authors a glimpse into who I am and, perhaps, get to know me a little better.
Some of the posts will be simple. Other ones... well... not so much.
Today's challenge is to post a picture of myself and tell
you about my day.
Well, as many of you already know, today was the official
release of "Hook's Little Mermaid" on Audible.
Though it has been out for a while, I had never taken the
time to official launch it and introduce it to the readers. I can say that the launch was successful,
however the day didn’t start out that way!
First thing in the morning, I get an email from Facebook
telling me that the ads I set up to advertise the release were not active
because there was something wrong with the payment. However, nothing had
changed. It was the payment method I had already used, there was money in the
back. I couldn’t’ figure it out (and we all know how hard it is to figure out
how to contact Facebook about any issue).
Then there was my Rafflecopter giveaway. I wanted to give
readers and fans a chance to win some great “Hook’s Little Mermaid” items.
Everything was running smooth until it wasn’t! The stupid Rafflecopter kept
crashing and I couldn’t figure out why. It was working for some people but not
all.
I got some new shoes and some new Harley Quinn memorabilia
to add to my collection (that’s just a glimpse of it behind me in the picture).
When I got home, the kinks had been worked out and “Hook’s
Little Mermaid” was actually number 2 on Audible’s Hot New Releases for teens!
That being said, it was a good day. Sure there were some
bumps in the road, but it turned out great in the end.

Official Release of "Hook's Little Mermaid" on Audible!
Official Release! Hear the story of Captain Hook from his own lips in this Audible version of "Hook's Little Mermaid."
“Hook wasn't always a villain. Discover what leads him on the path of destruction and how the love of a mermaid can change his heart.” ~ Hook's Little Mermaid
Captain James Hook was once a good man trying to make a somewhat honest living. He is a pirate, after all. However, after getting word that a boy named Peter Pan played a part in the death of a dear loved one, Hook makes it his sole purpose to hunt down and destroy the fiend.
On his journey for vengeance, the captain encounters many new comrades, including a young girl named Red and a fairy called Tinker Bell, and both push him to reconsider his desire for justice.
The accidental rescue of a mermaid leads him on a whirlwind adventure in Neverland. The journey is not a simple one, considering Pan, the Lost Boys, mermaids, and magic all come into play. After several misadventures, Hook must choose between the possibility of a new life with love and his much-desired retaliation against Pan.
Once everything is said and done, will the captain be able to overcome his need for revenge? Will he let compassion steer him toward love? Or will Captain Hook live up to his villainous reputation?

"I loved how Lynn fleshed out the details surrounding each character. Everyone has a reason for why they became the villains or heroes we’ve come to love." ~ Amazon Customer
"This is a remarkably fun and exciting read. It's a refreshing twist on an original fairy tale. Captain James Hook tells us his story on how he became an evil, vindictive pirate. The characters are phenomenal and the story-line made this book very hard for me to put down." ~ Jenny B.
"I loved this book. It combines all the stories I loved as a child- and still do as an adult- in to one awesome book. Getting to know Captain Hook before he was Hook puts a whole new perspective on him." ~ Sherry C.
