A Center Stage Moment: Suzanna Lynn interviewed by SF Benson

I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with SF Benson to do an interview about my work.

I love reading the author bios. Many of them did not start out as writers. Sometimes people stumble upon the craft. Did you always want to be a writer? I certainly have always enjoyed writing. Even as a teenager, I wrote elaborate stories, songs, and poems. I simply never imagined I would actually be a published author someday.
 
Why did you choose to write your genre? I am a great lover of fantasy; it’s my favorite genre of books and movies. And you know what they say, write what you would want to read. I think fantasy allows you to break the mold and create a world that is truly unique.
 
What is the strangest story you’ve ever written? I suppose the strangest would be one that has yet to be published. It’s a vampire/zombie combo book that actually started out from a dream I had roughly three years ago (before I ever even thought of publishing my first book). It incorporates both modern and ancient history, which requires a lot of research. I’m not sure you would classify it as strange, but some of the history I have learned of while researching was pretty strange. [Sounds interesting.]
