The Bed Wife Chronicles is on Audible!

Over five years ago, The Bed Wife came to me in a dream. Three days later, the first book was written.

A lot has happened in those five years. I've published a total of nine books; lost both my in-laws, an aunt, and my mother; gone through bankruptcy; dyed my hair multiple colors; and somehow managed to raise three children and stay happily married. I can only imagine with excitement (and some anxiousness) what the next five years will bring.

The Bed Wife Chronicles has always been my baby. It was my first story I had written, but I loved it because for the first time I felt like I was making a difference to others. I never imagined how many people would respond so positively to it, and dare I say, would become "Suzanna Lynn Fans!"

So, in celebration of this five year anniversary, I teamed up with the absolutely amazing David Maxwell. The Bed Wife Chronicles is turning 5 years old!

On May 22, 2014, I published my very first book, "The Bed Wife." It has been five years and a lot has happened. I've learned a lot about the publishing world (though I'm admittingly learning more every single day), and decided the series needs a facelift!

The covers have been redesigned, the interior redesigned and formatted, even the blurb is getting a makeover. However, the story, which I have always loved, will stay the same. I love it far too much to change a thing.

There will be an official relaunch toward the beginning of June, which will include giveaways and free copies of the books. So keep an eye here on the blog for upcoming events!

May 2019 will mark the 5th anniversary of the release of "The Bed Wife." As such, I felt a much needed 'recover' was in order.

While I absolutely loved the girl on my cover, but felt the cover itself didn't lend to reflecting the genre of the stories.

So, a little cover magic by Funky Book Designs, and voila! The books have a fresh new look and a beautiful new design.

They now give you a visual of the gorgeous Baylin along side his beloved Luana. They let the reader know this is a fantasy historical romance. And they simply scream "pick me up and read me!"

This story came about last summer. I fell in love with it quickly, but had trouble completing it because of being torn over how much sex, violence and down right insanity lay between it's pages. However, the time has come and the story is almost done.

The hot water warmed my skin, creating soft pillows of steam that rolled into the air. The bottom of the tub pooled red as my blood wash away with the water. My blood, I thought. Not just mine. His blood. His. Ours. Our blood. It was a lethal concoction that created an aphrodisiac between us.

 I tore open the tiny package of complimentary soap the hotel provided. It smelled of honeysuckle and claimed to be moisturizing. I didn’t care. I just wanted to feel normal again. To wash away to acts of violence I had taken part in only hours before. I smiled as I thought of what we had accomplished. It was vile. The body count outrageous. But I had reveled in it. In his smile; his pride as he watched me extinguish the lives of the men.

This isn’t me, I thought; battling this new version of me. Yes, it is, and you love it.

At one time I was known as Doctor Samantha Daniels. I was trained, not only as one of the best on the Bedworth PD but also took years of medical school so I can pick apart the brains of the mentally insane and get to the root of the crime problem in Bedworth.

But that felt like a million years behind me. That part of my life was over.

I’d given up a life as Dr. Samantha Daniel’s and embraced my new persona; Haley Carver – thief – murderer – sociopath. I relished in it.
